How to Get the Season of Dawn Artifact in Destiny 2

With every expansion and new Season in Destiny 2, there’s a new seasonal artifact for players to collect, and the same can be said for the Season of Dawn as well.

You’ll also be glad to know that the Season of Dawn artifact is pretty easy to obtain, at least compared to past Seasons and expansions.

To get it, you’ll first have to complete the short quest line that comes with the new Season. You can start it by talking to Ikora Rey at the Tower, then completing the objectives that go toward restoring the obelisk for Osiris at Mercury and unlocking the Sundial activity.

After completing the mandatory introductory run of the Sundial, talk to Osiris again and he’ll hand over the artifact, called the Lantern of Osiris. You’ll then be able to equip it and unlock mods for it that boost its effects even further.

To recap, here’s how to unlock the Season of Dawn artifact in Destiny 2:

  1. Complete the Season of Dawn quest line and unlock the Sundial activity.

  2. Talk to Osiris at Mercury after completing the quest line and he’ll hand it over.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Season of Dawn artifact in Destiny 2. Be sure to check our Destiny 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
