The Battle Tower will become available to you once you complete the game and roll those credits and is a fun way to train your self and improve your battling skills.
You can find this tower right at the same place where Rose Tower was and you can compete in several different types of battles and work your way up the ranks to get rewarded with BP that can be used to net you important competitive battle-minded items that you’ll definitely want if you have aspirations of climbing the ranked ladder.
2. Fill Out the Galar Pokedex
Things to Do After Beating Pokemon Sword & Shield
Since the Pokedex was cut in Pokemon Sword and Shield, filling out the 400 Pokemon-sized Pokedex this time around shouldn’t be as difficult but if you want a challenge after beating the game, there is a reward in it for you.
Once you fully complete your Pokedex, you’re going to want to head back to Circhester and head into the hotel on the left side. Go inside the lobby and up the elevator on the left side and then head into the room at the end of the left side of the hallway.
Light spoilers ahead if you don’t want to know what happens.
Here, you’ll find a man wearing a surgical mask and gloves and once you show him your Pokedex, he will give you a special certificate to commemorate the achievement.
He will also update your League Card with a special Pokedex Completion mark and he will give you a Shiny Charm, which helps you find shiny Pokemon out in the wild.
3. Participate in Some Champion Cup Rematches

Were the Champion Cup matches a bit on the easy side for you? Well, after beating Sword and Shield, you can go back and participate in rematches with not only the champion but with all of the gym leaders.
You can invite them to the battle and their Pokemon will be tough as nails with most of them being around level 60 to 70.
If you manage to defeat them, you can get a Wishing Stone and then after that, the rewards are random.
This is a great way to get some much-needed experience points if you’re trying to get your Pokemon to level 100 or just trying to evolve some weaker Pokemon or something.
4. Continue the Post-Game Story to Catch the Legendaries

Typically, the two legendary Pokemon that take over the box art for Pokemon games are able to be caught during the main story but in Sword and Shield, things are a bit different.
Once you beat the game, you’ll be able to go on a pretty long set of narrative quests that will then lead you to a fight with either Zacian or Zamazenta, both of which you can catch, depending on your version.
All you need to do to start the post-game narrative is to go to the Slumbering Weald, that area with the fog that connects to your hometown of Postwick and you’ll see Hop there and a cutscene will commence.
5. Battle Shigeki Morimoto from Game Freak

Shigeki Morimoto is one of the designers and directors over at Game Freak and guess what? You can find his character in Pokemon Sword and Shield and you can even challenge Morimoto to a good ol’ Pokemon battle!
If you go back to that hotel in Circhester, where all of the other Game Freak employees are found, you can find him in one of the rooms dressed as a police officer after beating Sword and Shield.
He will challenge you to a challenging double battle and his team consists of a: Coalossal, Cursola, Grapploct, Stonjourner, Dragapult, and a Snorlax that can Dynamax. And all of them are level 65 so just make sure to have the right team to wipe him out.
