Death Stranding, the new game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, is finally out and it has all the strange story moments you’d expect. Throughout the game, you’ll be travelling with a baby (or BB) that helps you find danger out in the world. So that you can keep the journey peaceful, here’s everything you need to know about how to soothe BB and stop them crying in Death Stranding.
What BBs, or Bridge Babies, do is act as a connection between the living and dead world, with Sam going to the latter every time he dies.
As you go out on your adventures to deliver packages, you’ll need to avoid BTs, which are the dangerous shadowy creatures in the game, and BBs help you do so.
They give power to Sam’s tools, which allow him to sense where BTs are in the world, so that you can sneak past them when you need to. You BB will cry though, and you’ll need to soothe it.
How to Soothe BB & Stop Them Crying in Death Stranding
What you need to do is hold down the L1 button, then press down on the d-pad, and then press square to hold the BB.
Once Sam starts holding the BB, start rocking your PS4 controller back and forth and it should start to calm down and stop crying. Just keep going until you can’t hear it anymore.
Then, once you’ve soothed the BB, you just need to press square again to put it back again. You can then carry on with your deliveries or adventures.
