Destiny 2’s latest expansion, Shadowkeep, is here, and it’s full of mysterious and intriguing locales to explore. One such is the Temple of Crota, an immensely important site in Destiny lore. Heres how to get to the Temple of Crota in Destiny 2.
How to Get to the Temple of Crota in Destiny 2
In order to locate the Temple of Crota you are going to need to travel first to the Moon, which is a new location in Destiny 2, but will, of course, be familiar to longtime fans of the series.
Start by spawning in at the southern-most waypoint on the map by Sanctuary. While you can technically access it from any drop zone, this will be the most efficient for our purposes.
From here, you are going to want to travel eastwards until you make it to the Anchor of Light, situated in roughly the center of the map.
From here, continue east, making your way through debris and avoiding hostiles, and eventually, you will come to a narrow ravine.
Follow this ravine until you come to an imposing-looking gate. It is fairly heavily guarded, and you really can’t miss it.
Once you have either dispatched or bypassed the guards out front, you can continue inside the temple proper.
Note that the Temple of Crota itself is not actually displayed on the map, which is why it can be tricky to locate. Below you can where the entrance is located, and the narrow ravine you will need to make your way down.
To summarise,
- Spawn at Sanctuary on the Moon
At the very southern-most part of the map.
- Travel east, until you arrive to the Anchor of Light
You will find yourself in the large, central part of the map.
- Continue east to the Temple of Crota
From the Anchor of Light, head east again and you will come to a narrow ravine. Follow it until you arrive at the Temple. It does not show up on the map.
That’s everything you need to know in order to get to the Temple of Crota in Destiny 2.
