Best Vault Hunters to Choose for Solo Play in Borderlands 3
Let’s get this out of the way first. Any of the characters in Borderlands 3 will get the job done whether you’re playing solo or with friends. All are fun to use, balanced, and helpful in any scenario, and can be specced to do all different things.
That said, we believe that Fl4k and Moze should appeal most to solo players. In a way, you have a buddy to play with always when you’re using Fl4k with your beasts. They can help keep you alive and pour on damage so it’s not 100% up to you at all times.
Meanwhile Moze appears to be designed the most for “selfish” play considering her action skills revolve around buffing up her mech. While she, like everyone, has some support abilities, she’s mostly about blowing things up.
Best Vault Hunters to Choose for Group Play in Borderlands 3.
For group play, Zane and Amara shine the brightest.
Zane is the obvious choice for someone that really wants a team-focused character. All of his action skills, especially barrier and digi-clone are enhanced with other players around able to take advantage of the buffs.
Throwing down a barrier for just yourself isn’t really that fun especially considering you move around so much in Borderlands 3. But having a whole squad rally behind you is way more appealing.
Amara also is more fun with other people around. A lot of her action skills are designed to either help support the team, and crowd control, and the more people around to take advantage of it, the better.
