Borderlands 3 is about securing Vaults around the galaxy, and guns… lots of guns. You’ll find them in chests, as drops from enemies, and they can be bought. The Weapon Manufacturers, however, will occasionally reward you for your loyalty to their brand and give you a nice, high-powered gift as a reward. How to Get Weapon Manufacturer Loyalty Packages
As the name suggests, you’ll get one of these in Borderlands 3 by simply using a weapon from a manufacturer over and over again. In our experience, we were given packages from Dahl and Jakobs for racking up over 100 kills with a particular weapon, or nailing headshots, too.
What Do You Get in Them?
Weapon Manufacturer Loyalty Packages always reward you with a weapon from that manufacturer. From our experience, it’s always a blue, purple, or gold weapon, and will have a weapon score that’s more often than not around the same as, or higher, than the best gun in your inventory.
How to Open Weapon Manufacturer Loyalty Packages in Borderlands 3
After you reach one of these milestones with your weapons, you’ll receive a notification within your HUD informing you that you’ve been sent one of these loyalty packages.
To find this, simply press the Options button on PS4, Menu on Xbox One, or Esc on PC and then select ‘Social.’ From here, tab over to the envelope icon to check your mail. You should now see each of the packages that you’ve earned here waiting to be redeemed.
Select the package you want to claim and then press X/A/left-click to confirm you’re redeeming it.
It’s worth keeping in mind you’ll need space in your inventory to actually claim it. If you don’t, it’ll tell you that you can’t redeem it, but the Weapon Manufacturer Loyalty Package will stay in your mail until you redeem it.
