Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, once again, brings together characters from across the Marvel universe, from Ghost Rider to Crystal. While most characters will automatically be added to your party as you progress through the story, a few of them require a bit more work to unlock, like Elektra. With that, here’s how to unlock Elektra in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
How to Unlock Elektra in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Elektra is the first character in the game that won’t join your party automatically, so don’t be alarmed when you beat her boss battle and nothing happens. The trick here is that you have to beat a specific Infinity Trial in order to unlock her. Specifically, the very last node on the Gamma Infinity Trial map (where you’ll see a character portrait of Elektra).
However, do be aware that the trial won’t unlock until the start of Chapter 5. In this trial, titled “Bad Business,” you’ll have to fight Kingpin, Juggernaut, and Ronan, all at the same time. Needless to say this can be a tough battle, so bring your best team and outfit them all with ISO-8s.
Juggernaut and Ronan won’t appear until the second phase, so make sure to take advantage of the first phase in order to build up your Extreme meter, so you have an attack ready when the other bosses appear.
Make full use of Synergy Attacks in the second phase as well, as you’ll want to stagger Juggernaut and Kingpin as much as possible, preventing them from launching their huge area-affecting attacks.
Once you’ve beaten the trial, Elektra will automatically be added to your team, and she’ll start at level 30 with all abilities unlocked. Not too shabby.
