You’re a superhero in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, so naturally you have lots of powerful superpowers that you can use to fight enemy forces.
However, Alliance Extreme Attacks are the cream of the crop and as you may expect, they have some restrictions on when can be used as a trade off for their power.
In terms of how you actually use Alliance Extreme Attacks: as you deal damage and take damage, a yellow gauge will build around your character portrait.
When it’s full you can press L+R to launch that character’s Alliance Extreme attack. If any other characters have their gauge full, you can press L+R up to three more times to add their attacks, and unleash one giant devastating combo.
You can use it solo if you’re in a pinch and need damage right away, but saving for a combo if you don’t need to use it right away could be the right move depending on the situation.
These are your coolest and most powerful attacks, so don’t be shy about using them. It’s easy to save them forever and then never end up actually using them so unless you anticipate a tough spot coming up, use ’em if you got ’em.
