Recently, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV’s expansion Shadowbringers, adding a large chunk of content, two new races, two new classes, and much more to the veteran MMORPG.

With this giveaway, you can win the key to enjoy the best expansion of one of the best MMORPGs and Final Fantasy games on the market, or to save some money on your monthly fees in case you’re already playing.

This time around, courtesy of Square Enix itself, we’ll have six winners, five plus one grand winner.

The grand winner will receive a fantastic physical Collector’s Edition of Shadowbringers either for PS4 or PC (the winner will be given a chance to select their platform of choice).

Each of the five additional winners will get a choice of one among the following prizes:

The five additional winners will be given the chance to select one prize among those listed above (excluding the physical Collector’s Edition, of course) and the platform between PS4 and PC.

An additional caveat is that all copies of the game and expansion are for the North American region. They will not work with European Square Enix accounts. The only exception is the Game Time Codes, as you’ll be able to choose if you want one for the North American region or one for the European region.

Speaking of the Physical Collector’s Edition grand prize, it can be shipped worldwide, but again, you’ll need a North American account to use it. You’ll also need to purchase the game and the previous expansions separately if you don’t have them already.

In order to participate, all you have to do is to comment on our articles, anywhere on the site. The more you comment, the better your chances. We want to hear your opinions and insight, and there is no better way for that to happen than sharing your comments with us.

On  July 17 at 11:59 EDT we’ll randomly select six comments made after this post has been published, and the authors of those comments will win a prize. It’s that simple.

Of course, spam comments and throwaway one-liners will be disqualified, as we’d like to promote interesting commentary and conversations among our readers.

Once the winners have been drawn, I will respond to the winning comments, and we’ll also publish links to them in an update to this post. At that point, you should respond to me, and at the same time, send me a mail at [email protected] indicating your Disqus nickname within the mail. The timing is important, as it’ll prove that you are indeed the winner.

Once contact is made, we’ll arrange your choice among the prizes and shipping for the grand prize.

If a prize isn’t claimed within three days of the announcement, we will proceed to draw another winner.

If you’d like to know why you should get involved, you can read our review of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers and our article explaining why it features the best story among all the tales told by the Final Fantasy series.

Good luck, get commenting, and stay tuned for more giveaways!

Update: the winners have been decided! Find them below. Congratulations! Please follow the instructions above to claim your prize.

GRAND PRIZE:

Kelly Kramer: Ooooooh I’m so excited!! I can’t wait to revisit all the original characters! They’ve always been my favorite (none of the replacements have really come close) and I think it’s time they come back into the spotlight and get more depth!

Additional Prizes:

Argos Talvis: Really hype for this game, definitely going for black Eagles, I personally don’t really care about not been able to customize character as long as the character looks okay or good, then no problem, at least i think the avatar looks good enough.

Miciah: Never got into Minecraft cause they aesthetics turned me off, but I like DQ and I’ve heard great things so far about this one. I might just have to give it a shot. 🙂

Ami: The game so far is just utterly astounding. The writing is top notch like Giuseppe says; and the flow of the story with the growth of your character through the new expansion areas is almost perfectly balanced (minus a few areas where you might find yourself lagging behind) but overall, it’s heads above both Stormblood and Heavensward.

Mimi: I’ll be in Japan from August 28th 🙁
This sounds like so much fun – can’t wait to see some pictures!

Josh Silverman: I don’t know what it is about cooking side quest/minigame/minor mechanic stuff in games, but something about it always pulls me in. Definitely cool that this is a component of the next FE game.
