Judgment: How to Sprint & Run Faster

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The city of Kamurocho in Judgment is a huge place that you’ll be traveling all over during the game. With a ton of main cases, side cases, and friend events, you’ll be going back and forth all the time. Because of that, you’ll want to get around as quickly as possible, so here’s how to sprint and run faster in Judgment.

How to Sprint & Run Faster in Judgment

Getting around Kamurocho is pretty easily luckily, and Judgment gives you more than enough ways to move quickly around. From the very start of the game, while you’re walking you can press the X button to make Yagami break into a run.

In previous Yakuza games, you’d have to continuously mash the X button to make your character keep running, but the good news is that’s totally gone in Judgment. You only need to hit the button once and Yagami will keep running, and the even better news is that there’s no stamina, so you can just keep running as much as you need to.

The only unfortunate part is that this is the speed you’ll run at for the entire game, and there’s no way to make Yagami run faster in Judgment. Still, it’s definitely better than running out of breath and having to slow down.

Of course, if you need an even faster way of getting around the city you can always take a taxi. These are represented by the red car emblems on your map, and for a measly 400 yen, you can use the taxi to travel to any of the other taxi spots on the map. Pretty handy, if you ask me.

That’s everything you need to know about how to sprint and run faster in Judgment. For even more tips, tricks, and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, or check out our Judgment wiki.
