With the release of the week 10 challenges in Fortnite Season 8 yesterday, Epic Games has today released a set of Overtime challenges to keep players busy between now and the end of the season. There are plenty of rewards up for grabs, too, so here’s everything you need to know on how to complete all Season 8 Overtime challenges in Fortnite.
How to Complete All Fortnite Season 8 Overtime Challenges
Currently, there are only a handful of the Overtime challenges available for players to complete. The rest will be releasing over the next few days between now and the end of Season 8. Fortunately, the list has already been leaked in its entirety, which we’ve provided for you down below. For now, though, these are the Overtime challenges you can begin working towards.
As you can see, many of the Battle Pass challenges simply require you to level up your Battle Pass to a specific Tier. If you’ve been making your way through the various weekly challenges and playing well, you’ll likely already have surpassed or be very close to reaching Tiers 71 and 87.
If not, you might have a fair bit of work to get these skin variations in time before the Overtime challenges and Season 8 comes to an end.
All Season 8 Overtime Challenges

In case you’re struggling to see all of the challenges, we’ve broken them down in written form below. Fortunately, there’s nothing too taxing about these challenges.
- Reach Battle pass Tier 23
- Complete Free Overtime Challenges (2)
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 71
- Reach Battle Pass Tier 87
- Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (20)
- Place Top 10 in Squads with a Friend (3)
- Deal Damage to Opponents (1000)
- Place Top 15 in Duos with a Friend (3)
- Outlast Opponents (500)
- Place Top 25 in Solo
Really, the only one of the Overtime challenges that requires any kind of explanation here is the ‘Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands.’
Simply head to the Creative mode, and choose any of the ‘Featured’ islands. Once you head in, you’ll see a number of gold coins with an ‘F’ on them floating around. Grab the easy ones and then return back to the main hub island.
You can then hop back in and grab these exact same easy coins. Once you’ve done this multiple times and reached the 20 required you’ll have completed this challenge.
