What the Cap Is

To cut to the chase, The Division 2’s max level cap is level 30. It’ll take a good chunk of time and grinding out side missions and other activities in order to reach this, but once you do, that’s when the game’s real end game content opens up. We’ve got a comprehensive guide on how to level up fast in Division 2 to help you out.

What to Do After Hitting the Level Cap in Division 2

Upon reaching the max level cap in Division 2, players will be able to activate one of three specializations. These unlock a signature weapon and additional skills to match the play style that particular specialization leans towards. These are as follows:

  • Survivalist – Controls their surroundings with traps and status effects. Their signature weapon is a precision crossbow.
  • Demolitionist – The glass cannon specialization, going in all guns blazing and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Has a grenade launcher as their signature weapon.
  • Sharpshooter – All about remaining undetected and taking their targets out from afar. They rock a powerful sniper rifle as their signature weapon.

Your focus after reaching the max level cap in Division 2 will also likely turn to upgrading your gear and weapons, too. By doing so, you’ll be able to increase your gear level, which will make you all the more powerful for taking on the new co-op end game activities, or heading into the PvP sections of the game.

Finally, it’s worth noting that Ubisoft has stated that The Division 2 will have “an always-evolving end game” with new content being added regularly for a full year of free story-driven missions, map expansions, and new game features.
