How to Unlock Clans in The Division 2

Recommended Videos

Ubisoft and Massive are back with The Division 2, which continues from the events of the first game, and puts players in Washington DC this time around. Here’s what you need to know about how to unlock clans in Division 2.

Recruiting Grace Larson

Before you can get started on creating your new clan in Division 2, first you’ll need to recruit an NPC named Grace Larson. Thankfully, this can be done by playing through the game naturally and progressing in the story.

Once you complete the third main mission, titled ViewPoint Museum, Grace Larson will spawn at the Theater Settlement.

Now, all you have to do is head back to the Theater and talk to Grace. She can be located easily by following the orange icon on your screen. Once you speak with her, you’ll then unlock clans in Division 2.

Joining or Creating Clans in Division 2

Now that you’ve unlocked the function, bring up the main menu by pressing the Options button (or Menu button if you’re on Xbox One). On the left of the menu, you’ll see the Clans option, so select that.

From here, you can choose to either find a clan or create one of your own. You can also check your inbox to see if you have any pending clan invites.

If you choose to find a group to join, there are plenty of filters here to let you pinpoint a clan that will suit your play style. For instance, you can filter your search results by PvP or PvE focus, active hours, and region.

For those of you that want to create a group, you can also apply these filters to let people know what your clan’s focus will be on.

That’s all you need to know about how to unlock clans in Division 2. Be sure to check our Division 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
