Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch. Though its not the open world action experience the past two titles in the series were, it still offers plenty of hack-and-slash fun in a variety of formats. Here’s how long Travis Strikes Again is and how many Death Balls there are to play through.

First off, let us explain what we mean by ‘Death Balls’ here. Travis Strikes Again sees our protagonist living a more peaceful life having quit the Assassin Ranking. Instead, he plays on his Death Drive Mk II console, playing games – called Death Balls – where, if he dies, he dies in real life.

This is where the bulk of Travis Strikes Again’s gameplay lies, and as such, you’ll likely want to know how many of these Death Ball games there are to play.

There are actually seven of these Death Balls that you’ll play through in, though one of them is incredibly short and won’t take long at all to finish (we’re talking like minutes).

Outside of these, the game also has a separate ‘Travis Strikes Back’ section which plays out as a visual novel and fills in the blanks as to how our protagonist got his hands on all of these elusive games. These sections aren’t too lengthy, though, so don’t add a whole lot of time onto the length of the game.

In total, we clocked in at just over 11 hours in Travis Strikes Again, having played through the entirety of the story and taken our time with the visual novel sections. It’s worth noting that depending on the difficulty and your skill level with hack-and-slash games, you may finish the game slightly faster or slower than we did.

We’ve included the names of all of the Death Balls down below, so you can get an idea of what’s to come if you simply can’t wait.

  • Electric Thunder Tiger II
  • Life Is Destroy
  • Coffee and Doughnuts
  • Golden Dragon GP
  • Serious Moonlight
  • Serious Moonlight 2
  • CIA

That pretty much does it for how long Travis Strikes Again is and how many Death Balls there are to play through. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to check out our comprehensive Travis Strikes Again guide wiki.

TLDR;

Question: How long is Travis Strikes Again and how many Death Balls there are?

Answer: Travis Strikes Again took us around 11 hours to complete on normal difficulty, having cleared all seven of its Death Ball ‘games.’ There are also visual novel sections you’ll read to fill out the story of how Travis acquired these, but they’re not very lengthy at all.
