We’ve reached the end of 2018, and boy what a year it’s been for video games. Things aren’t quite done with the last month, however, as there are still a few big releases to get out of the way before we ring in the New Year.

The first week of December is when nearly all of the games of the month release, and December 4, in particular, is especially busy. The Persona series returns with two different games, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.

The two games bring back the dancing gameplay of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, with brand new remixes from their respective games and new dialogue options with the Social system. Meanwhile, on the same way we get the newest entry in the renowned destructive series, Just Cause.

Just Cause 4 promises to be bigger and crazier than ever before, giving players new weapons and options on top of crazy weather systems like tornadoes that affect the world around you. Finally, amidst the plethora of smaller releases Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales finally makes its way to consoles.

We loved Thronebreaker in our review, finding it to be a brilliant mix of card gameplay and quality Witcher storytelling.

The rest of the month is much slower by comparison, with the next few days seeing The Last Remnant Remastered as well as PUBG finally arriving on PS4. As you catch up on the deluge of releases from the last few months, there are still a few new titles to grab your attention in December.
