Also, with this year’s game dropping the usual single-player campaign, in favor of a battle royale mode called Blackout, there’s more online multiplayer content to offer bonus DLC for. What the DLC Gets You in Black Ops 4

Any version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 that you preorder will come with 1,100 Call of Duty points, as well as the MX-9 Signature Weapon. These come with the game, no matter which retailer you preorder from.

You also get additional DLC bonuses if you preorder one of the game’s many different versions. You can see the full break down of what each edition offers over at the Call of Duty website, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and select a version, but they offer content such as additional Call of Duty points and the Black Ops Pass.

How to Redeem the Bonus DLC

Once you’ve preordered your copy, either digitally or physically, you’ll need to redeem the DLC.

To redeem preorder bonus DLC if you bought it physically, you should find a code in the game’s box. All you need to do is head to your platform’s storefront and look for the redeem code option. If you’re on PS4, scroll down to the bottom of the menu on the left and you’ll see it. Then, type in the code on the slip you received. You will then be able to download the bonus content and you’ll find it in game.

To redeem Black Ops 4 bonus DLC if you bought it digitally, the additional content should be redeemed automatically. You won’t need to input a code and it should be there for you in your account. Once you load up the game and log in, you’ll be notified of the content and it’ll be available in your inventory.
