Which Horse to Pick in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
In this guide, we’re going to go over exactly what you need to know to pick the right horse in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey touts a whole new open world for players to frolic in. This time around, though, there’s a heavy emphasis on RPG elements like player choice. With that being so important, the first choice players will have to make might stump everyone: Which horse do you pick?!
Well, whether you’re Kassandra or Alexios, the answer to this is really easy…
There’s zero percent difference between the horses. The game claims that the one on the left is a good climber, the one on the right is a good warrior horse, and the one in the middle’s the best of both worlds, but that’s just fluff. Even the official strategy guide for the game says that it’s all purely flair and that it doesn’t matter, if you won’t take my word for it.
Whichever one you choose, you’ll have your trusty steed, Phobos. It’s really a cosmetic choice. Same goes for your main character, eh? Seeing a trend?
Eventually in the game, you’ll be able to buy any of the skins for Phobos at different stores. Heck, you’ll even get better ones that are more legendary and rarer.
If you purchased a special edition, you might have even gotten a sweet skin for your riding buddy. And if you have Helix Credits to spare, you can get him looking like Pegasus. Pretty cool, right?
So, yeah, don’t worry too much about which one you should choose since it comes down to which one you think looks prettiest to ride right now.
That’s really all I can tell you about which horse to pick in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Go now and choose. It’s not that important, but how awesome if it actually depicted which ending you got, 30 hours later.
