Is There Co-Op Multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?
Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey packs plenty of new things for the series, including more characters, quests, and even a vast new map. There’s plenty of ground to cover if you’re playing alone. However, some fans might be wondering if they can share the adventure with their friend. That said, if you’re wondering if there’s co-op multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we have an answer for you.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. This game is purely a single-player experience, meaning there’s no way you can join up with another person.
There is no co-op in AC: Odyssey. In addition to that, the same can be said for both online and local multiplayer, including split-screen as well. The developers haven’t mentioned anything about co-op multiplayer, and it’s unlikely it’ll be patched in. This isn’t all too surprising, considering the fact that almost every game in the series is a single-player experience.
The only exception is with Assassin’s Creed Unity, in which you can team up with up to three other players. There, you can complete special co-op multiplayer “Brotherhood” missions, which are different than the main story missions.
While there isn’t actually any multiplayer in Odyssey, there’s more to do. For instance, the game places you smack dab in the middle of a raging war between two powerful factions.
You have to bring an end to the ongoing conflict, embarking on a slew of different missions. Also, if you pre-ordered Odyssey, you’ll also have access to The Blind King mission later on.
That’s pretty much everything you need to know about co-op multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
