While a lot of what you’ll be doing in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey focuses on the battle between the Spartans and Athenians, there’s also a ton of other side content you can complete. Sometimes, it’s nice to just do something for yourself. Even if that’s becoming the Champion of the Arena by any violent means necessary. If you’re after the platinum trophy or 1000 Gamerscore, you’ll need to become the champ. Doing so will unlock the ‘Are You Not Entertained?’ trophy or achievement. Here’s how to become Champion of the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey so you can get the Are You Not Entertained? trophy.

Where to Find the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Before you can become Champion of the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll need to know how to get there. Once you’ve defeated a few mercenaries, you’ll unlock a quest that’ll task you with finding the place itself.

Upon picking up this quest, your character will receive a note informing them of the location, but you’ll need to figure it out yourself.

It can be found in the southeastern region of the map. Head to the bottom right corner of the map and look for the Pephka region. Make your way here first.

Once you’re in Pephka, you want to keep heading east and you’ll soon enough find it’s near this locale’s northeastern coast. It’s pretty tough to miss, so you should find it soon enough.

Now that you’ve found the place you’ve got to go to, it’s time to become Champion of the Arena and get the ‘Are You Not Entertained?’ trophy or achievement.

How to Become Champion of the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

All you need to do now is speak to the gatekeeper. They’ll give you a list of fighters to choose from that you can challenge. Simply put, you need to defeat all of the challengers to become Champion of the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. In doing so, you’ll also unlock the ‘Are You Not Entertained?’ trophy or achievement.

Here are all the contenders you’ll face up against after completing the four waves prior to your boss fight with them:

  • Klaudios, King of the Bandits – Level 22
  • Belos, the Beast of Sparta – 29
  • Evanthe, the Huntress – 36
  • Titos, the Rock of Athens – 43
  • Vasilis, the King of the Arena – 50
  • Skoura, Head of the Arena – 50

Keep in mind that all of them can be faced again once you’ve gone through them all for more drachmae and gear.

Tips to Become Champion of the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

These battles aren’t anything wildly out of the ordinary that you’ve come across. However, they’ll still put your combat skills to the test. As such, we highly recommend that you’re within at least a couple of levels of the challenger you’re taking on. This will mean you’ll probably have to grind a bit in the post-game before you can beat them all and become Champion of the Arena. Be sure to make use of your abilities, too. Shield-Breaker and Second Wind are definitely some of the most useful abilities you can get in the game, and they’ll work an absolute treat to beat the challengers, too.

Finally, the actual battlefield has spikes all around it. They’re not just there to give the place an ominous atmosphere. They’re there to be used in combat. Be sure to make use of these spikes by forcing your opponents into them. They’ll deal a nice bit of damage to help make the fights go that little bit quicker.
