The Brewfest is a seasonal world event within World of Warcraft, and as the name would suggest, it’s a culinary celebration in the mold of the famous Oktober fest, held in Munich –hence why it’s running from late September to early October. Within the context of World of Warcraft WoW, it represents a feast celebrated by both Horde and Alliance to rejoice over the season’s harvest, and there are loads of special achievements, weapons, and unique items to be earned. One such set of items are three summon items for Brewfest-themed mounts. Here’s how to get a Brewfest Mount in World of Warcraft (WoW).

There are three separate Brewfest Mounts in World of Warcraft that you can get your hands on: The Brewfest Ram, Swift Brewfest Ram, and Great Kodo.

The standard Brewfest Ram is only available for those that completed a specific quest way back in 2007. For those lucky few, this particular Brewfest Mount can be purchased from a vendor. For anybody that did not complete that quest, you’re out of luck.

The Swift Brewfest Ram can be obtained inside the Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest awarded once-per-day for killing Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths during the Brewfest event. This Brewfest mount is available to players of both factions, and not just the Alliance.

Do note that this Brewfest Mount is extremely popular among Horde players, since this is the only way to obtain it. That’s not so much the case among the Alliance, as it’s effectively just a recoloring of the Dwarven racial mount.

Furthermore, if you completed the quest to unlock the Brewfest Mount in 2007, you don’t have to go through the ordeal in the Blackrock Depths. The Brewfest Mount is available for purchase from a vendor.

As for the Great Brewfest Kodo Mount, you can obtain it via the Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest in the same fashion. You will need to be at least level 40.
