How to Trigger Cryo Pod Heroic Public Event (Wanted) in Destiny 2 Forsaken

Destiny 2’s new expansion, Forsaken, is not just about the story content focusing on the death of everyone’s favorite Guardian, Cayde-6. In fact, it adds new content to almost every area of the game. There’s a new Raid, a new mode, new areas, never before seen exotics to collect, and things to see while you’re exploring the Destiny 2’s planets. One of those latter things to see is the new Heroic Public Events, one of which asks you to Secure the Wanted Enemy. Here’s everything you need to know about how to trigger the Cryo Pod Heroic Public Event (Wanted) in Destiny 2 Forsaken.

While you’ve probably already found the Public Event if you’re here looking for the Heroic version, you’ll first need to head to the new area called Tangled Shore, because that’s where it’s taking place. To active the Heroic Public Event, there are a few steps to follow, some of which are the same as the standard event.

First of all, head to the Cryo Pod that’s marked on you map by the usual Destiny 2 Public Event symbol, where you’ll have to take out some enemies. Once you’ve done so, another, more powerful enemy will come out of the pod. Proceed by shooting the enemy and, after a while, the pod will begin exuding freezing gas. Now, have a look on the side of the pod for a vent that you can shoot. Once you’ve shot it off, grab the orb that’s inside and chuck it at the Wanted enemy.

After a few throws, the enemy will be frozen and there will be some more enemies to fend off, making sure you stand in the circle around the now frozen enemy. Once the capture indicator reaches 100 per cent, the frozen enemy will disappear and you’ll have completed the Cryo Pod Heroic Public Event (Wanted). Now, all there is left to do is collect your loot and keep your fingers crossed for an exotic.
