How to Use a Small Gift (Cat Statues) in Destiny 2: Forsaken
In Destiny 2 Forsaken’s new endgame area, The Dreaming City, there are a ton of secrets to find both big and small. There are, of course, big events such as the Blind Well, and the upcoming raid, Last Wish, that will steal the show. But there are more tucked away, hidden Easter eggs to find too. One of the teeny secrets is the Small Gift and the hidden Cat Statue you must present it to reap its true value.
While doing events in The Dreaming City, you might have received an item called A Small Gift.
There is, however, little instruction of what to do with the small gift. It’s just kind of there in your inventory, all mysterious like.
You can get A Small Gift from our experience randomly by completing activities such as public events, patrols, and the Blind Well.
So what do you do with A Small Gift? Well, you must present it to something of course. In this case, there is a hidden, tucked away small little Cat Statue that will happily accept it.
The trick is finding it. There are multiple locations for cat statues here is one such location that has been discovered.
Right when you spawn into the mists, there is a large tower in the distance.
Head towards this tower, and to the left of it make, and then make your way to a path that leads to a cliff overlooking a large drop.

Next, look down and you should see this small cave in the distance with some ground you can land on.
Jump down there and make your way through the tight cave. At the end of the cave, you’ll see some large statues of some kind. Ignore those. On the ground, to the right of them, is a small little statue of a cat. You can present your “A Small Gift” to it, and then it will reward you with a random legendary, possibly related to the raid (that’s what we got when we did it).
A tipster by the name of Richard, also sent us the following information about another cat statue:
“There’s also a cat statue in the Observatory (where you first find Petra in the dreaming city). If you jump up on the rotating observatory objects you can jump onto an upper ledge and there’s a small cat statue set as if looking out a window.”
