First person mode was added in GTA V with the release of the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions of the game. Players can toggle between first person mode and third person mode in these versions of GTA V. Toggling between modes is simple on console and PC.

To get out of first person mode in GTA V on PlayStation 4, players simply have to press the touchpad on the DualShock 4 controller. This will then have them return back to the normal third person view. Switching views on Xbox One is just as easy, players just have to hit the Views button on their Xbox One controller.

Players can set different views for different moments in GTA V by going to Options and then settings in the pause menu. Then select “Allow independent camera modes,” which will allow you to have separate settings for walking, and driving. There are also a few other camera options once you are in their if you want to experiment.

For PC players, getting out of first person and back into the third person view can be done by clicking the V key on their keyboard. This can be changed under the keybinding setting if players want to pick something that is more comfortable for them. Clicking V will also change the camera from close, medium, and far angles.
