Sea of Thieves: How to Change Hair Color

Changing Hair Color in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves doesn’t have a proper character creation system, which means that you can’t simply choose your desired hair color at the start of the game. And if you’re wondering whether you can customize that later on in the game, well, the answer is a little complicated.

At the time of writing, there doesn’t seem to be a proper way for players to change their pirate’s hair color. While choosing your pirate’s character model at the start of the game, you can get different colored hair while going through all of the random permutations and combinations, but this is still a tricky situation as you might not get the pirate with all the facial features you want and the hair color you want.

However, Rare has stated that they have plans on adding in the ability to change your pirate’s hair color at some point after launch. There aren’t any details on how this will be implemented, but it’s still good to know that this is in the works. There’s also a possibility that this could be tied to the premium shop that’s set to be added into the game in the future as well, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as more info is revealed.
