The Assassin’s Creed franchise is almost ready to return after a one-year hiatus, and Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins. As a veritable origin story for the series and the Assassin Brotherhood, the trailer dubbed “Legend of the Assassin”, gives us a look at Bayek and his role in Ancient Egypt.
The trailer is made up of exploration and combat gameplay, interspersed with some striking images of Egyptian Hieroglyphics Paintings. Of course, these paintings are altered to include Bayek, the Assassin. You can see plenty of examples of the abilities you’ll have, as well as the environments of Egypt you’ll be exploring.
