Destiny 2: How to Unlock the Sunbreaker Subclass

How to Unlock the Sunbreaker Subclass in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Just hearing the sound of a hammer clanging sends shivers down the spines of Destiny Crucible veterans (and probably a few aliens as well). Those who wielded those dreaded hammers will be pleased to know that the Sunbreaker subclass for the Titan is present in Destiny 2.

The Sunbreaker is the last of the three Titan subclasses you’ll gain access to in Destiny 2. You must obtain the Melted Hammer relic by completing activities while exploring and opening chests. Once you do, a quest will start that tasks you with killing enemies and completing more activities. When you’re done with that, you’ll be prompted to return to the Shard of the Traveler, where you obtained your other subclasses in Destiny 2.

Go there and clear out the nearby enemies, then interact with it to gain the Sunbreaker’s abilities. You’ll now have to clear out a ton of enemies, going through rifts as you do. Use the pools of light on the floor to quickly charge your super in order to make this a cakewalk. When everything is dead, you’ll be all set.

Destiny 2 is now available on Xbox One and PS4, with a PC release coming in October. Check out our wiki for more handy guides on the game.
