How to Get the True Ending in Hellblade

Recommended Videos

Ninja Theory’s latest title, Hellblade, has released, following Senua as she makes her way through Viking Hell to rescue the soul of her dead lover. While playing through the roughly eight-hour experience will allow you to see the end of Senua’s quest, the game does have a ‘true ending’ of sorts. So here’s what you need to know to get the true ending in Hellblade.

As you make your way through the game, you’ll probably have noticed the long, thin stones with a circle of runes on them. All you need to do to get the true ending in Hellblade is collect all 44 of these Lorestones that are scattered throughout the world. Each one of these gives you a bit more context to the story, but it’s only by collecting each and every one of them will you be able to trigger the true ending cutscene. While we won’t go into the specifics of what happens in the cutscene, we will tell you that it triggers shortly before Senua finally confronts the game’s final boss. If you want to just find out what happens in this cutscene once you’ve collected all of the Lorestones, be sure to check out our explanation post here.
