How to Increase the Game Speed in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Recommended Videos

The Zodiac Age introduces a new gameplay tweak that should make the game overall easier and more convenient for most players. Because of how vast the zones are in Final Fantasy XII, it can take a good while for players to travel from one place to another. To address this issue, Square Enix has included an option to increase the game speed.

From the Config menu, you can set the fast-forward speed to either 2x or 4x, depending on how fast you want the game speed to be. While playing through the game normally, simply tap the R1 button to increase the speed. 2x will make the game move twice as fast, while 4x makes it move four times as fast. This should help you move from zone to zone much quicker. When you want to turn off the game speed option, tap the R1 button again and you’ll be right back to normal speed. This tweak can be used to speed up combat and battles as well. What a handy feature.

That’s all you need to know to increase the game speed in The Zodiac Age. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and information on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.
