Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age: How to Steal

How to Steal in Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age

Recommended Videos

Technicks are useful skills you can unlock in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and each one has a different effect. The earliest Technick that you’ll have access to is Steal, which can be incredibly useful both early and later in the game. This allows you to attempt to steal something from an enemy. Sometimes it’s basic stuff or sometimes it’s valuable equipment if you do it on a unique enemy.

In The Zodiac Age only Vaan, Balthier, and Fran have access to Steal. You’ll find it in the Technicks menu when you hit X during battle to bring up the battle menu. Just select steal and your character will automatically do the action on the selected enemy. Of course, keep in mind that steal doesn’t have a 100 percent guarantee of working in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, so you may have to try it a couple times. Stealing is a good way to get more loot and items, and definitely make sure to try it on boss enemies like the Judges or Gilgamesh to get some rare equipment and weapons.
