How to Get Majora’s Mask in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

The Master Trials expansion for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild added some interesting new pieces of gear for our hero to don. There’s Tingle’s outfit, a Korok Mask, and even Midna’s Helmet from Twilight Princess (which helps out a lot with Guardians). But there’s another really famous mask that fans of the series would love to get their hands on: Majora’s Mask. Thankfully, it’s one of the new pieces of gear you can snag, and we’re going to tell you just how to get it.

Like the other pieces of gear added into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you don’t actually need the related quest to obtain Majora’s Mask, although it does help guide you. The quest is titled Ancient Mask and you can obtain it from a notebook in ruins located near the Great Plateau Tower (which we guide here). The quest will lead you to a book that provides a hint as to Majora’s Mask’s location (it overlooks Lake Kolomo). That hint is speaking of the Kolomo Garrison Ruins, which is north of the Forest of Time. You can find the ruins on the shore of Lake Kolomo.

Search the southern side of the main building in the area and use your Magnesis powers to pull up the chest. Open it and you’ll have your very own Majora’s Mask which is perfect for those who like to play a bit more stealthily, as it makes you much more difficult to spot.
