How to Recruit Atlas in Fire Emblem Echoes
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has quite a few varied characters that you’re able to recruit to your side. It doesn’t function quite the same as past entries, however, as you rarely recruit allies in battle. One such character is Atlas, a strong young man who resides in one of the game’s villages.
Atlas starts as the villager class in Fire Emblem Ehcoes, which means once you get him to a promotion level you can choose which class you want him to ascend to out of Lancer, Cavalier, Archer, and Mage. This means that he has a ton of potential for growth, and can really be molded into whatever kind of fighter you want, unlike most characters who generally have an assigned role. He can be recruited by Celica during Act 3, just before you can head over to the Desert Stronghold.
To recruit Atlas, head over to the Mountain Village, just to the left of the Desert Stronghold map. You’ll need to travel into the village past the Entrance and the Smithy in order to find him on a separate screen. Once you’ve found Atlas, talk to him and he’ll tell you his story about his brothers and how he wants to help take down the Pirate Grieth. After that, you’ll have the option of recruiting him in your army.
