Getting the Devil Confidant (Ichiko Ohya) in Persona 5
Ichiko Ohya is a reporter that you first come across during your investigation into Madarame (the holder of the second Palace). Her name isn’t revealed then, but after unlocking the Shinjuku area, you can find her at the Crossroads Bar. She’s an interesting character, though her skills will only matter to players who have trouble staying unseen while infiltrating Palaces. She’s also one of the romance options in Persona 5.

Rank 1: 6/25, Unlocks Rumor-filled Scoop
Just head to Crossroads one night on or after 6/25 and talk to her.

Rank 3:
Answer 1 – “You shouldn’t make assumptions.”
Answer 4 – “Was she falsely accused?”
Rank 4: Unlocks Shocking Scoop
None of your answers matter, you’ll still get the same reactions.
Rank 5:
Answer 5 – “That’s unforgivable.”
Rank 6:
Answer 2 – “He must not like you.”
Answer 3 – “You shouldn’t trust in her.”
Answer 4 – “That’s the spirit” or “You’re a great journalist.”
Rank 7: Unlocks Outrageous Scoop
Answer 2 – “Don’t let him provoke you” or “Let’s think of another way.”
Answer 3 – “You’re charming as you are.”
Rank 8: Unlocks “Fighting for Truth in Journalism” request
Answer 1 – “You seem tired.”
You’ll unlock Ohya’s request after the second interaction. Complete it, then return to her and choose any answers to unlock rank 8.
Rank 9: Romance Opportunity
Answer 2 – “You’re not giving up, are you?”
Answer 3 – “I can’t leave you” or “I want to help.”
Answer 5 for Friendship – “I didn’t take it seriously.”
Answer 5 for Romance – “I took it seriously.”
Answer 6 – “I love you, Ichiko” (to maintain romance), “I’m just kidding” (to revert to friendship).
