Minerals are a pretty important resource in Mass Effect Andromeda, as you’ll need them to research new weapons and tech, and upgrade your existing stuff. Therefore, there’s a good chance that you’ll always be on the hunt for the different minerals in Mass Effect Andromeda.

Fortunately, if you’re willing to spend some time doing a bit of hunting, they’re not too difficult to find. As you survey the Andromeda galaxy from the bridge of your ship, be sure to scan for anomalies in every system that you stumble upon. You’ll often find at least one planet or asteroid that is teeming with one of the minerals you’re after. This isn’t the only way to get these valuable materials in Mass Effect Andromeda, though.

The other way requires you to actually land on a planet and get exploring. Whenever you see a colorful rock formation or something that looks a little different to the rest of the terrain, check it out. These are mineral deposits. Simply press Y on Xbox One or Triangle on PS4 to interact with these and you’ll add them to your inventory.

That’s all you need to know to get minerals in Mass Effect Andromeda. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
