Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Mod Weapons

How to Mod Weapons in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

There are quite a few weapons available to players in Mass Effect Andromeda, several of which offer interesting ways to do battle. However, sometimes weapons can be better with a bit of fine-tuning, and that’s where weapon mods come in. Of course, you can’t just slap a mod on any weapon, it must have slots to do so.

First, you need to go to any station that lets you alter your loadout, such as the Armory on the Tempest. When choosing your weapons, highlight one that has slots (circles beneath the weapon) and press Square on PS4 and X on Xbox One. This will allow you to select one of the slots. Once you do, press X on PS4 and A on Xbox One to bring up a list of any mods you may have available for that specific weapon type. Select the one you want, and it will be locked to that slot until you decide to change it.

That’s all there is to it. Just make sure to pick the mods you feel will benefit you most. Don’t go for clip size on a weapon you barely use, or accuracy for something you’re not going to use long range.
