Horizon Zero Dawn: How to Get More Merchants

How to Get More Merchants – Horizon Zero Dawn

Recommended Videos

You’re going to visit merchants quite a lot in Horizon Zero Dawn. Not only are they the only place you can buy better weapons, but they’ll buy just about anything you pick up in the game off you. As such, it’s important you know how to get more merchants so you can buy and sell to your heart’s content.

In order to stay safe, merchants are often found at settlements. While you can find them in other places such as the occasional campfire, this is pretty infrequent. With that in mind, if you’re planning on venturing out into the wilderness, we advise you stock up on supplies and clear out any junk first.

Having more available to you in Horizon Zero Dawn simply comes down to clearing the map. As you reach the major settlements, you’ll find the number of merchants available to you naturally increases. However, by taking out bandit camps, you can add even more of them onto the map.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to summon or make more of these guys set up in a settlement or reclaimed bandit camp, so you’ll just have to make your way to the closest one. At least you can always use a Fast Travel Pack if necessary.
