How to Craft Items and Ammo – Horizon Zero Dawn
Crafting is pretty important in Horizon Zero Dawn if you want to take down the machines and restore peace to the land. Therefore, you’ll want to know how to craft items and ammo, and make sure you’re never caught short at the worst times.
To craft items and ammo in Horizon Zero Dawn, you’ll want to press the touchpad to bring up the menu. Under the crafting tab, you’ll then see a number of sub-menus on the left-hand side. To craft items, simply select the option it would fall under. For example, a Shock Trap can be found under the Traps & Potions option, and then Traps. Once you’ve found the item you want to make, hold down X on your DualShock 4 and a small notification will pop up when you’ve successfully crafted.
While you can make ammo this way, too, there’s a much better method. If you’re in the middle of battle, bringing up this menu is cumbersome, so all you need to do is press L1 on your controller to bring up the weapon wheel and select the ammo that you want to craft. As long as you have the resources, you’ll craft ammo on the fly, allowing the action to continue in slow motion at the same time.
