Final Fantasy XV: What the Max Level Cap Is

Max Level Cap – Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

During your time with Final Fantasy XV, you’ll complete a bunch of quests, side quests, and other activities that will see your band of protagonists earn experience and level up. In doing so, they’ll gain access to more abilities, get increased stats, and generally become even more powerful when in combat.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to just keep grinding your characters away to an infinite level, laying waste to anything that stands in your way. Final Fantasy XV has a level cap, originally revealed in the Duscae demo, of 99. Once you’ve finally earned enough experience to reach this level, you simply won’t be able to level your characters up any further, and they’ll more than likely rule the roost when it comes to the plains of Eos.

Remember that as well as each character’s general level, there’s the ascension system that will see you unlocking different abilities, and making them an even more lethal force in combat.

It’ll take quite a while to reach Final Fantasy XV’s max level cap, so you don’t have to worry too much about hitting it anytime soon. For more tips, tricks, and guides for Final Fantasy XV, check out our ever-expanding wiki.
