Final Fantasy XV: How to Summon Ifrit

Summoning Ifrit – Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

Ifrit, the Infernian, is the last of the six Astrals you’ll encounter in Eos, the world of Final Fantasy XV. This fiery being stands between you and the final boss encounter, being the only member of “The Six” to never support the humans in their fight against the darkness. When you defeat him you don’t get a mark as you do with the other Astrals, you instead get the Infernian’s Shard, which is a piece of Ifrit’s horn.

This is because he never gives his support to the player. After defeating this powerful, fiery being, you won’t see him again, no matter how much trouble you fall into. It’s unclear if you will somehow be able to utilize his power later on, or if the developers are planning to give him a role in one of the upcoming expansions. If something does happen to turn up, though, you can rest assured that we will update with any pertinent information.

For now, you’ll just have to rely on Titan, Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva as you fight your way through Eos while experiencing everything that Final Fantasy XV has to offer.
