Though the odds are stacked fairly high against you when you are a Pilot facing off against a Titan in Titanfall 2, you can still emerge victorious. The key here is to rodeo titans that you spot, like a cowboy.

To rodeo a Titan, first, you must have the grapple equipped as your tactical gadget. This will allow you to climb on top of the Titan. Next, all you need to do when you see a Titan is aim towards the top of them and press L1 to fire your grapple. With a bit of luck, you will be dragged right up towards the top of the Titan, at which point the game will automatically initiate a sequence that will see you ripping the battery out of a Titan.

If the battery has already been removed or the Titan is at low enough health, your Pilot will throw in a grenade instead. This often leads to the Titan exploding or at least sustaining extremely heavy damage.

That’s all you have to do to rodeo Titans in Titanfall 2. Keep it in mind whenever the fight gets a bit crazy. For more tips, tricks, and guides for Titanfall 2, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
