FIFA 17: How to Get Skill Points

Get more Skill Points.

A host of new changes are coming to Pro Clubs in FIFA 17. Based on feedback EA Sports has received about the mode, the changes will make player growth feel more personal whilst ensuring matches aren’t ruined by people looking to boost their own rating without helping their team.

Player growth is now based on match rating, taking into account all attributes, promoting teamwork rather than individuality. This has been implemented to help make matches feel more authentic.

Traits and Skill Points have also been added to Pro Clubs in FIFA 17. Skill Points allow players to equip traits to the Physical, Defending, Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Pace, or Goalkeeping categories. Traits, each costing a certain number of skill points depending on how much they help, allow you to give your pro abilities such as a long throw or more pace.

According to the EA Sports website, Skill Points are earned in FIFA 17 by playing League and Cup matches. So to earn skill points you need to play a certain number of games, and getting a higher rating in each game will help your overall rating increase at the same time. The more games you play well, the higher your rating will be and the more skill points you will receive, allowing you to unlock more Traits.
