How to Start Dying Light The Following Expansion DLC

Dying Light The Following is the all new expansion to the open-world, zombie fest. It adds a brand new location, new enemies, weapons, and a new mode of transportation. Not only that, though, it also ups the difficulty a ton. With all of these additions, you’ll probably want to jump in as soon as possible.

Unlike previous DLC for Dying Light, The Following is not accessible from inside the main game. If you plan on continuing your previous file, you’ll be left in a bit of confusion. So, instead of choosing Continue from the main menu, scroll down and hit Play while you’re there.

Under this menu, you’ll see the option to play The Following just under Play Campaign. Choose it and select new game. Do not worry, it will use your character from the campaign with all your items, weapons, skills, and experience progress. It would be really hard for you if you decided to start with a whole new character, by the way. So, you know, don’t do that!
