How to Get All New Mounts in FFXIV: Stormblood
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood has finally released, bringing with it a whole bunch of exciting new improvements ranging from an increased level cap, to new jobs and areas, and even new mounts for players to use. These rideable creatures are incredibly popular with players and as such, are something you’ll likely want to know how to get as soon as you jump into the new expansion.
To give you a helping hand with finding all of the new additions in FFXIV’s latest expansion, we’ve included a list of all known new mounts in the game and how you can unlock them.
Please note this list is a work-in-progress and is being updated as and when we find out how to unlock more of the new monsters. Be sure to check back for more information on how to get all of the shiny new mounts for you to get.
All New Mounts in FFXIV: Stormblood
Syldra: In order to get this one, you’ll need to have picked up the Stormblood Collector’s Edition. All you need to do then is visit any town and keep an eye out for the Delivery Moogle. Speak to him and you’ll be rewarded with your shiny new mount.
Blissful Kamuy: You’ll need to beat the Lakshmi EX in order to get this one.
Reveling Kamuy: Beat the Susano EX and you’ll get this mount as a drop.
Battle Lion: Requires you to be a Paladin and unlock the Paladin achievement in Stormblood. This requires you to get 300 daily roulette bonuses as the Paladin.
Battle Bear: Requires you to be a Warrior and unlock the Warrior achievement in the expansion. This requires you to get 300 daily roulette bonuses as the Warrior.
Battle Panther: Just like the other two tank mounts, the Battle Panther requires you to unlock the Dark Knight achievement. You’ll need to get 300 daily roulette bonuses as the Dark Knight.
Yol: You’ll unlock this one eventually as part of the main story.
Ixion: Trade in 12 tokens from the Ixion fate at the Eschina NPC.
Centurio Tiger: This one could take quite some time to get. You’ll unlock it by killing 3000 A rank and 2000 S rank hunts, which will also unlock the You Got Game achievement.
