Getting to Korok Forest – Zelda Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

The Korok Forest is a major place of interest in Breath of the Wild for a variety of reasons. There’s a Shrine here, you can talk to Hestu to exchange any Korok Seeds you might have found on your travels, and you can undertake the Korok Trials. However, the most important reason for getting here is to have Link pull the Master Sword from the ground. Do note that you will need a total of 13 hearts in order to pull out the Master Sword successfully. Any less than that and you’ll die.

To get to the Korok Forest, you’ll want to venture to Hyrule’s central region, where you climb the Woodland Sheikah Tower. This region is north of Hyrule Castle and the Lanaryu Wetlands (which is directly about Kakariko Village). From the Woodland Tower, follow the road northwest until you approach a forest. You’ll know you’re in the right place when the fog sets in and the game lets you know that you’re in the Lost Woods. You’ll have to navigate your way through the Lost Woods in order to reach Korok Forest.
