Chances are that if you’re a fan of the series, you’ve obtained at least on of the amiibo related to the franchise. Depending on which one(s) you have, there are different features tied to it that are activated once you tap the amiibo into action.

Twilight Princess (Wolf Link)

This amiibo will grant you Wolf Link, a powerful companion that will assist you in both combat as well as scavenging for items. It will even hunt for food so you can make some hearty meals.

30th Anniversary (Link – OoT, Link- LoZ, Toon Link – Wind Waker, Zelda – Wind Waker)

Each of these can be used once per day and will drop supplies form the sky that will prove to be useful in your adventure. Depending on which you tap, you’ll get different supplies:

  • Zelda – Plants for cooking and crafting
  • Toon Link – Fish for cooking
  • OoT Link – Meat for cooking
  • 8Bit Link – Barrels containing items and possibly Rupees

Breath of the Wild (Guardian, Archer Link, Rider Link, Zelda, Bokoblin)

These amiibo will provide rare items that are normally only found late in the game.
