Do You Have Access to DLC With the Xbox Game Pass?

Recommended Videos

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass is now available to Xbox Live Gold members, and it’ll fully launch on June 1. The service gives Xbox owners access to a wide array of titles for a monthly subscription. You can pay $9.99 a month to download and play any of the games included. Of course, cancelling the service will lose your access to the titles, unless you’ve purchased them outright at that point.

With so many titles available like Halo 5: Guardians and Bioshock Infinite, Xbox owners will no doubt be wondering if they’ll have access to DLC as well. Unfortunately, you don’t get free access to a title’s DLC with the Xbox Game Pass. However, you can still purchase add-ons for games like Bioshock Infinite, such as Burial at Sea, and play them through the game. Keep in mind, however, that if you deactivate the Xbox Game Pass service on your Xbox One, you’ll lose access to both the title and the DLC you’ve bought for it.

With the pass you do get discounts on certain games, however, so you can purchase something to own if you’re really enjoying it.
