Closing out the Summer with some Xbox One S savings.

Xbox One S, Microsoft

Like many retailers and companies, Labor Day and the weekend leading up to it is a time to slash some prices and make some deals. And Microsoft decided to up the ante on their Xbox One S bundles by allowing gamers who purchase their One S + Battlefield 1 + 2 free games bundle to pick from a newer line-up of titles. This list did include Destiny 2 and Madden 18, however, at the time of writing this, both of those games are out of stock. The Xbox One S 1TB Battlefield 1 Special Edition is also gone, but there are still a number of options left.

Console wise, the two remaining options are the Xbox One S 500GB as well as the Xbox One S 500GB Battlefield 1 Special Edition systems. Both come with a copy of Battlefield 1, a wireless controller, a month of EA access for free, 14 days of Xbox Live Gold for free, along with a chance to save 10% on a 3-month subscription of Xbox Live. The Special Edition, however, comes in Storm Grey and also includes a free copy of The Crew. Both of these options are $249.

As for games, they are broken into your first and second choice. The first choice, games include:

  • For Honor
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • Gears of War 4
  • Watch Dogs 2
  • Prey
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
  • Injustice 2
  • Tekken 7 (Day 1 Edition)
  • Dead Rising 4
  • Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  • Halo Wars 2
  • LEGO CITY Undercover
  • Syberia 3
  • Elite Dangerous: Legendary Edition
  • Cars 3: Driven To Win
  • Dark Souls III – The Fire Fades Edition

The list for your second choice of free games is considerably shorter and includes:

  • The Crew
  • Hasbro Family Fun Pack
  • Just Dance 2016
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division
  • Watch Dogs

Some of the other features of this Labor Day deal is a free, 3-month subscription pass to Groove Music, as well as the option to save 10% on the purchase of an additional wireless Xbox One controller. Microsoft also has Labor Day deals on their Surface Pro, select PCs, and accessories.
