Testing Out
The being with everyone’s DNA is here to teach you a thing or two about sucking out people’s life forces! The first part of Cell’s mentor quest in Dragon Ball Xenoverse is much like others in that you simply need to prove your strength by beating the ever loving crap out of the infamous Dragon Ball Z villain. Once you finish this three out of seven stars battle, you’ll get Cell as your mentor and potentially some rewards!
- 2,200 zenny
- Antidote Drop
- Antidote Essence
- Guard Shard
- All Clear
Once you’re done, leave and level up to access Cell’s next mentor quest.
Triplet Trouble
A four out of seven stars battle awaits you with Cell’s next request. You’re going to need to defeat three Cell Jr. within five minutes. Not too bad, just remember to focus on one specific Cell Jr. at a time. Completing this quest can potentially get you the following rewards:
- 3,100 zenny
- Antidote Drop
- Antidote Essence
- Guard Crystal
- Gravity Impact
If you managed to win, let’s move on to an even harder quest, shall we?
Sorry Creature
What’s with this one’s title? Anyway, the next Cell mentor quest is the same difficulty rating as the last one, so rest a little in your anxiety. The stereotypical failure condition of not losing all your health are still there, but he wants you to use the Super Attack you received after the last battle, Gravity Impact, to finish him off. Kinky.
- 4,000 zenny
- All-Aura Crystal
- Antidote Essence
- Guard Crystal
- Perfect Shot
After this, you only have the final battle to complete Cell’s mentor quest line, congratulations!
Show Your Power!
Cell’s final mentor battle is five out of seven stars, which isn’t as intense as Goku’s, but you should still err on the side of caution. Just get his health down and you’ll possibly net these rewards:
- 5,000
- Get Mad and Show Your True Power!
- Senzu Beansprout
- High Mix Capsule
- Ultimate Mix Capsule
- Perfect Kamehameha
That’s it! If you so choose, you can spar with Cell after this and get a chance to receive the A Power-Biased Transformation z-soul. Other than that, you’re all set with Cell’s mentor quests in Dragon Ball XenoVerse. Feel free to redo them as you please for higher ratings and more of the rewards!
