Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the Tomb Raider is Even Better With the Classic Lara Skins

Keep it classic.
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on the PS4 comes packed with a lot of cool content. One of the new additions is the Classic Lara skin pack, which can be unlocked after you’ve beaten the main story campaign. After that, you’ll be able to equip some sweet Classic skins at any base camp. I have to say, playing through the game again and watching the cutscenes with the Classic skins equipped makes the campaign a thousand times better.

I’ve taken the liberty of capturing some quality in-game screenshots to show just how perfectly Classic Lara fits into the modern look of Rise of the Tomb Raider. There isn’t anything too spoilery in the screenshots, and they more or less cover the first couple of hours of story events, and show off some early cutscenes and characters that you meet along the way. Watching the high polygonal character models interact with my Classic skin Lara has been very interesting, to say the least. It’s also cool to see that the Classic models also have shadow effects when you walk in front of a light source to help with your immersion.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is now available for the PS4.
