The game was supposed to release on December 9. The new release date has not been announced. The developers hope to announce it at the beginning of 2022.

According to the producer, there were scheduling and quality issues that convinced the developer that it was better to delay the game.

We also get to see some gameplay of the second stage, portraying the improvements made to the game thanks to the additional time.

For instance, formations have been changed in order to make them easier to use. We also see entirely new formations.

Next is a look at the Caravan mode, a five minutes score attack mode. We also see the achievements.

Then the developers showcased the option for the vertical display mode. Scanlines are also available if you like that.

Last, but not least, we get to see the opening cutscene.

Sol Cresta is coming for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a retro-style vertical shooter with Gattai (combination) elements.

If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy the previous gameplay video from an event broadcasted a couple of months ago.

Speaking of PlatinumGames, they recently released a brand new DLC for The Wonderful 101: Remastered.

The studio is also working on its own on its new IP Project G.G and on Babylon Fall for Square Enix. Of course, we should not forget about Bayonetta 3, which has recently been re-revealed.
