Starting the Single-Player Campaign in Splatoon 2

Recommended Videos

Just like in Splatoon, Splatoon 2 also offers a single-player campaign for you to jump into before trying your hand in the game’s online modes. Once you beat the game’s tutorial, simply look for the woman with the umbrella to the left of the Turf building. She’ll disappear into the sewers, and you can follow her by pressing ZL.

This will take you to the single-player section of the game, where you’ll have to venture to a few different worlds, complete various challenges, and rescue all the Zapfishes. After completing all the challenges in a single world, you’ll unlock a boss room. You’ll have to defeat the boss in order to proceed to the next world. As you progress, you’ll learn more about the mysterious woman’s motives and why she’s asked you to rescue the Zapfishes. The campaign will also offer you many chances to try out different weapons as well. However, do note that you can’t level up by playing the campaign. That has to be done in the multiplayer modes.

More About Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 is the follow-up to Splatoon, the inky shooter game released on the Wii U two years ago. Take control of a kid, splat your enemies with ink, and transform into a squid whenever you feel like it.
